Spectacular house! Perfect for our 10th anniversary. House well laid out - perfect Caribbean retreat. It was difficult to leave the house. The Petersons
We had a great time at Longview. 1st time for my brother Colin (8) and me - Julie (11). But it's my Mom & Dad's 5th! We went on a day sail on the Patouch II. It was sooo FUN! My favorite restaurant was Quito's, their food was GREAT! We laid around the house on some days and swam in the pool. We went to Smuggler's Cove 2 times and Long Bay Beach a couple of times. When Colin and I walked in the door it looked A LOT like the pictures and we went CRAZY! I love the pool and the showers. We walked to Soper's Hole and ate lunch at Pusser's. We walked and played on the beach in Cane Garden Bay while we waited for our food. Today is our last day here. We had a great time and I would like to come back someday. Our Vacation to Tortola was wonderful - 8th time for Mom and Dad and 2nd time for Laura and Beth - and our stay at Longview House was pleasurable to say the least. The house is a beautiful spot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Full Moon Party at Bomba's was an interesting experience - something everyone should see... We spent most of our beach time at Smuggler's Cove and vowed to get down to Brewer's Bay next time. We cooked in most meals and enjoyed eating outside by the pool. Thanks for a wonderful few days - we'll be back again! The Perrys (Owen, Betty, Beth, Laura) We have had a wonderful week celebrating our daughter Sarah's graduation from high school. This has been an ideal spot to explore the BVI, particularly the West End. Our excursions included snorkeling in Smuggler's Cove, ferry/day trip to Virgin Gorda, and a day sail to the Soggy Dollar Bar & Grill on Jost Van Dyke. Our beach time here was spent at Cane Garden Bay. We also made a trip to St. Thomas for some (19th) Anniversary shopping. All in all, a great home base. With the exception of breakfast, we ate all of our meals out. So we did not really take advantage of the kitchen or the grill. On the other hand, a private pool to come home to was certainly a delight, and by the end of the week it was essential. The Peters (Mike, Nancy, Sarah, Caroline)
This is our first trip to the BVI... but definitely won't be our last! Longview House is perfect... The view is so beautiful - that we really didn't leave the house much! We are definitely hooked on Tortola - the island is beautiful and so much to see. We rented a power boat and took a trip to Virgin Gorda... another beautiful spot! We loved Smuggler's Cove, Brewer's Bay, and Cane Garden Bay... Ate at Quito's, Pusser's, Fat Hog Bob's, and Skyworld... all excellent food! Make reservations at Quito's - and Fat Hog Bob's has the best drinks! The Suttons |
